The Gilbert Literary Agency are offering their professional editorial services FREE of charge. We cater to all fiction and non-fiction genere. Based in New Zealand our agency became an established independent subsidiary in 2005 of our mother company Hawkspurr Productions which was founded in 1990.

Despite our location , we are internationally linked and work in close collaboration with publishers from around the world. We are happy to offer promising writers guidance and practical advice should their work warrant this; to improve their chances and opportunities in finding them suitable publishers. Writer’s world-wide, both new and previously published authors are most welcome, to submit their completed manuscripts to our agency for evaluation.
The bulk of our clientele are American and we deem it expedient therefore to continue dealing with publishers as far-reaching as the USA, Canada, India, China, United Kingdom, Ireland, Scotland, europe, Australia and also New Zealand publishers in that order.
We offer our editorial services free of charge and there are no upfront fees or hidden costs, and our Agency Commission Fee shall only apply, when a client’s work has been published and they are earning revenue from proven book sales.

We accept Word Document, Rtf., and in special cases PDF file format. Preferably submit us your work in a Microsoft Word Document format where possible.
Once your application for evaluation has been reviewed, we shall advise you of any other requirements which may be needed to complete and finalize your request for representation. A subsequent offer of contract for representation can be offered to you.
